I matriculated in 1985 and joined the SAP force in 1986, where I was a member for 13 years. I was stationed at the Vehicle Theft Unit where I was dealing with vehicle crime – stolen vehicles and identification of stolen vehicles countrywide. During these 13 years I worked very closely with the different Insurance companies relating to vehicle claims.

During my last 5 years with the SAPS I was the liaison officer between insurance companies, the SAPS and the banks where I was the chairperson and organised meetings regarding vehicle crime.

This triggered my interest in the insurance field. I started my own company called Ultimate Insurance Corporate Services, which was based in Cape Town and aimed at assisting and training insurance house clerks regarding accident investigations and vehicle theft/hijackings.

After discovering a further need in the industry for a call center for assessors countrywide, a new company was founded, and the company’s name was changed to Network Claims Assessors Group. We are now able to offer our services countrywide, as well as in neighboring countries in the investigation and assessing of all claims and motor claims and Non-Motor Claims

I joined the (MVAASA) Motor Vehicle Assessors Association South Africa where I also gained further experience in the field of motor assessing and obtained a certificate for Vehicle damage quantification governance body of South Africa (vdQ)

NCA operates daily on the Abuntex system in the office doing quotes for damaged vehicles. The company expanded since and I am personally overseeing and auditing all final accident related reports before they are sent to the various Insurance companies. NCA is currently staffed to a total of 55 employees countrywide which enable us to assist with all claims – motor and non- motor countrywide. Up to date, NCA has assessed more or less about 51 000 vehicle-related claims.

I Joined (ILA) Institute of Loss Adjusters – Membership Number: 1106660804   I gained over 15 years’ experience in the non-motor claims. Numerous in-house training seminars on short-term insurance assessing at various insurance houses and seminars with the ILA & (IIWC) Insurance Institute of Western Cape. Where i gained the following in non-motor insurance claims:

* Accidental Damage • Buildings Combined * Contractors’ All Risks • Electronic Equipment * Fire and Allied Perils * Agriculture • Goods in Transit * House Owners / Householders * Liability • Personal Lines • Professional Indemnity • Property Damage * Theft and Robbery * Water * Storm-related claims.

I’m a hard-working individual with dreams as huge as mountains. I believe anything is possible and I will never sell myself short as my Father above did not and never will create failures. My goal is to change the industry of Loss Adjusters / Assessors & Investigators around to a point where we can work together with insurers instead of against each other. We need each other to survive this very competitive market. My Creator comes first, my family is my life and Network Claims Assessors will rise to the top NETWORK of Loss Adjusters in South Africa.
