I have a variety of hobbies, which include reading, doing crossword and Sudoku puzzles,
knitting, gardening, exercising, welfare work, etc.
I find that they increase in time, as I am a very curious person and enjoy learning new skills
and obtaining new information.
I have co-founded and managed a support group for outpatients with mental illnesses and
their families at FS Psychiatric Hospital. Unfortunately, when I moved to Pretoria for a year
in 2016 to assist a family member with Multiple Sclerosis, the group dissolved after I left, as
it requires dedication, empathy and commitment to sustain this type of group.
I am a Volunteer Coordinator and Administration Assistant for the Board at Bloemfontein
Hospice & Palliative Care.

Receive instruction and contact Insured immediately to schedule an assessment
Review and confirm completion and accuracy of documents, policy and conditions
Plan routes for claims, make arrangements and contact clients
Identify what is outstanding and required from client
Review merit and plans for what needs to be investigated and whether specialist
expertise are required e.g. a builder or engineer etc.
Visit the client to investigate circumstances of the claim
Interact with the client and do a physical inspection (inventory, determining value of
loss and value at risk)
